Abstract: This session will describe the fundamentals of meaningful stakeholder engagement in research, with a focus on Patient Centered Outcomes Research (PCOR). Methods of structuring and quantifying stakeholder input will be described. Application of stakeholder engagement principles will be demonstrated through the example of a current comparative effectiveness research project focused on hearing care for older adults. Audience discussion will be encouraged throughout this session.

Plan qualitative and quantitative measures of stakeholder engagement.
