Sung-Hsi Huang, M.D., works as a staff physician in the Division of Infectious Diseases at the National Taiwan University Hospital Hsin-Chu branch. Dr. Huang is also the Secretary General of the Taiwan Infectious Diseases Society and Taiwan AIDS Society. He is also a lecturer in the Department of Tropical Medicine and Parasitology at the National Taiwan University College of Medicine.
Dr. Huang received his medical degree from the National Taiwan University College of Medicine in 2005. He obtained diploma of tropical medicine and hygiene at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene in 2013. He joined the international aid organization, Medecins Sans Frontieres, in 2015 and had been deployed to Swaziland and South Sudan for HIV/TB and primary healthcare programs, respectively. Currently he is provided inpatient and outpatient care in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
His research interests include combination antiretroviral therapy, viral hepatitis, parasitic infections, and cryptococcosis.
