For 13 years, Mark led the team at Golin in its marketing, public relations and promotions work for the National Peanut Board. Among the milestones during that time was the creation of a Scientific Advisory Council and Food Allergy Education Council to guide the board’s investments in research and education. Following the release of LEAP in 2015 and the NIAID guidelines in 2017, NPB made driving the adoption of early introduction to prevent peanut allergies a top priority.
In all, since NPB was founded in 2001, America’s peanut farmers have contributed more than $32 million to food allergy solutions. And today, helping us all get closer to those solutions is Mark’s sole focus.
