Diane Paul, PhD, CCC-SLP, CAE is ASHA's Director of Clinical Issues in Speech-Language Pathology. Dr. Paul, an ASHA Fellow, has worked for ASHA for 31 years and provides professional consultation, develops education programs, and creates practice resources. Her expertise is in the area of communication development and disorders in preschool-age children. She is the co-author of the Talking on the Go, RTI in Action, ASHA Functional Assessment of Communication Skills for Adults, and the ASHA Quality of Communication Life Scale, She serves as ex officio to the Joint Committee for Interprofessional Relations Between the American Psychological Association and ASHA, the National Joint Committee for the Communication Needs of Persons with Severe Disabilities, and ASHA’s Special Interest Group 4, Fluency and Fluency Disorders.
