Angela Sullivan serves as the Medical Project Specialist at the Tourette Association. In this role she coordinates both the medical program, as well as CBIT workshops for practitioners and various allied health professionals to learn about the diagnosis and treatment of Tourette Syndrome. In addition, she organizes the national webinar series, oversees the online support groups and assists in the programming of other CDC funded projects.
Angela is passionate about education and supporting others. Through this lense, she aims to continue combating misnomers about TS and spreading awareness and understanding in both the general public and among health care professionals.
Prior to joining the Tourette Association of America, Angela worked in collaboration with Northeastern University, Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Center for Youth and families as Project Manager for the Family Gym program; a free, weekly play program that promoted physical activity for children ages 3-8 and their families in underserved communities of Boston.
Angela received a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science from Springfield College and went on to receive a Master’s in Public Health from Northeastern University.
