In this session the attendee will be provided with updates as it relates to the management of clinical presentations of canine and feline allergic dermatitis. The attendee will also be exposed to best practices concerning cutaneous adverse food reactions, medication selection for otitis externa in dog, and appropriate medical management of allergic cats.

Learning Objectives:

Following completion of this lecture attendees should be able to outline appropriate steps and considerations diet elimination trials and the diagnosis of food allergies.
Attendees will be able to discuss appropriate medical management and therapeutic options for feline atopic skin syndrome/allergic dermatitis.
