FDA's GFI # 263 transitioning remaining medically important antimicrobials from over-the-counter (OTC) to prescription drug status goes into effect in June of 2023. This means both companion animal and food-producing animal clients will need a prescription to obtain drugs they have received OTC. USDA's Center for Veterinary Biologics now receives adverse event reports (ADE) on vaccines and other animal biologics. Learn how you can both report ADEs and see what has been reported.
