In commercial feedlots and calf grower operations, a variety of data collection systems are used on a daily basis to record animal health and production information. The data from these systems, combined with other technologies, create the basis for providing detailed veterinary oversight and monitoring of commercial production systems 365 days a year. The objective of this presentation is to show the evolution of this process and provide practical examples of the types of telemedicine we provide to our feedlot and calf grower clients on a daily basis.
