Probably the most common cause of lameness attributed to a painful stifle are partial tears of the cranial cruciate ligament or torn menisci. In this panel presentation, we will discuss how to diagnose the partial cranial cruciate tear and manage the partial cruciate tear. We will also discuss how to identify and manage meniscal tears.

Learning Objectives:

Following this session, the participant will know how to diagnose patients with partial cranial cruciate ligament injuries.
Following this session, the participant will be able to determine if removal or retention of the remnant of a partially torn cranial cruciate ligament is best medicine.
Following this session, the participant will know how to diagnose and treat meniscal injury.
