Only a third of cats see the vet annually vs. nearly 80% of dogs, receiving significantly less healthcare compared to their canine counterparts. Once a cat passes 2-3 years of age, it is significantly less likely to visit the veterinarian. Join us to provide a positive vet visit experience for both cat and pet owner, and improve wellness protocols, preventative diagnostics, and immunizations. Attendees will receive both verbal and pictorial demonstrations of low-stress and efficient feline handling, and reading cat-specific body language during the exam. Attendees will learn ways to reinforce the veterinary-client-cat relationship to help encourage regular visits and ease travel to and from the animal hospital.
