We will discuss the traditional approach to diagnosis and treatment of endometritis, as well as alternative or new methods to increase the diagnostic and therapeutic success. We will emphasize the pathophysiology of endometritis and host-pathogen interactions, to improve our understanding of how the different treatments work, and to be able to select the best treatment option for each case.
