Chameleons are challenging but increasingly common lizard species presented to practitioners. This 50 minute lecture will review the common species encountered and guide the attendee towards successful tips and tricks in the examination, diagnostic specimen acquisition and treatment of these interesting lizards.

Detect common physical examination abnormalities in chameleons and identify normal anatomical structures including gender/sex identification in common chameleon species.
Understand limitations of blood collection and radiographic acquisition in chameleons.
Recognize common ailments in chameleons and construct a diagnostic and therapeutic plan.
