This lecture will review TCM patterns in cancer and then look at various cases of different types of cancer and how the cancer was put in remission for a time primarily with the use of various Chinese herbals.

Learning Objectives:

Describe in TCM terms what patterns to consider when evaluating a cancer patient
Name some more common Chinese herbal formulas to consider to use in cancer cases
Name which formulas are better to consider with certain types of cancer
State how acupuncture is considered contraindicated in cancer in that one should not needle near or into a cancerous nodule, but otherwise is fine to do elsewhere on the body.
