General Veterinary Technician Session: The ability to perform and interpret an electrocardiogram(ECGs) are important skills. This lecture will focus on three simple steps to interpret any ECG. We will use these steps to interpret some common arrhythmias together. The recognition, description and communication of arrhythmias is critical for proper patient care and therapy.

Learning Objectives:

Review the normal conduction system
Learn the three step approach to interpreting any ECG
Develop an understanding of why abnormalities are seen on an ECG
