Pyoderma is a common secondary pathology associated with chronic management of dermatologic disease. There are various clinical presentations of pyoderma in dogs and cats. Collecting cytology is imperative to identify pyoderma and prescribe appropriate treatment. Some pyoderma cases benefit from systemic antimicrobial treatment.
