Otitis externa can be a frustrating diagnosis to manage especially in chronic allergic patients. There are many great topical therapies that can help eradicate bacterial and yeast organisms. However, commercial products have different ingredients with various benefits depending on the infection. Different ear flushes also have various purposes and a patient's needs may change during management.
