Dr Letendre graduated from the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of the Université de Montréal in 2013. She then completed an internship at the Western Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Centre, a private practice affiliated with the University of Calgary. She became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2017 after completing a residency at Cornell University. She worked in a private practice in Montréal before joining the emergency and critical care team at the Université of Montréal in 2019.
