Andrew Bugbee, DVM, DACVIM (Internal Medicine) is an Associate Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Georgia. He also Co-founded and is the Director of the UGA Veterinary Diabetes and Endocrine Clinic. Dr. Bugbee obtained his BS (Biomedical Sciences) and DVM from Texas A&M University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. He then completed a rotating Internship and Internal Medicine Residency at UGA. He became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in 2013 and was an Assistant Professor at Purdue University before joining the faculty at UGA. Dr. Bugbee’s current research interests center around canine and feline diabetes mellitus.
