Dr. Forrester received her DVM from Auburn University and completed an internship, residency, and MS degree at Texas A&M. She was a faculty member at Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, and Western University and served in a variety of faculty and administrative roles. She joined Hill’s Pet Nutrition in 2005 and currently serves as Director of Global Veterinary Innovation.
Dr. Forrester is passionate about teaching and has received numerous awards in recognition of teaching excellence at the university and national level.
She lives in Lawrence, Kansas with her husband (also a veterinarian, and now a clinical psychologist) and has one daughter who is currently a 4th year veterinary student at Texas A&M.
