Dr Griffin is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology and works as clinician for the Animal Dermatology Group and Clinical Professor of Veterinary Medicine Western University of Health Sciences. Dr Griffin was founder of the Animal Dermatology Clinics in 1981 that became the Animal Dermatology Group. He also and a couise master and intstructor for the European School of Advanced Veterinary Studies/Dermatology in both Europe and Asia. Dr Griffin received the Stanford University School of Medicine Outstanding Veterinary Dermatologist Award in 1995, the American College of Veterinary Dermatology Award of Excellence in 2001 and the Frank Král Award for Achievements in Veterinary Dermatology in 2014. Dr Griffin is coauthor of Muller and Kirk’s Small Animal Dermatology, editions 5,6 and 7 and co editor of Current Veterinary Dermatology, the science and art of therapy. Dr Griffin has made numerous presentations at over 350 different meetings around the world. He is coauthor on over 100 published chapters or papers, 50 in peer reviewed journals.
