This session will focus on acute vision loss. Participants will learn how to manage acute conditions in practice. They will also learn about when referral might be the best option, and what to do prior to referral in their clinic.

Describe the various ocular conditions that can present as acute vision loss.
Improve one's ability to diagnose the cause of vision loss using basic examination techniques and equipment available to most general practitioners.
Identify vision loss cases best suited for referral to an ophthalmologist.
