In this wet lab, you will learn how to perform Fear Free procedures using environmental guidelines and gentle control techniques. The lab will help you understand and then apply the basics of performing Fear Free veterinary procedures, including calming locations for procedures, understanding team member roles, and using gentle control techniques and tools.

4 CE hours. Purchase required. Capacity: 20. Price: $420.

Transportation: Complimentary shuttle service is provided to and from the Oquendo Center for all hands-on labs. The pickup area is located at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center entrance. Buses depart promptly 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time of the course.

Dress Code: Please dress comfortably. Scrubs are recommended, additional scrubs are available for use at the Oquendo Center, if needed. Closed-toe shoes are required.

Learn to identify the signs of FAS (Fear, Anxiety, & Stress) in dogs and cats
