Nannizziopsis, Ophidiomyces, and Emydomyces, oh my! Are you confused by the alphabet soup of fungal infections of reptiles? This 50 minute lecture will review the current knowledge of mycotic infections of reptiles. Attendees will be exposed to the current nomenclature, clinical presentations, species affected, diagnostic criteria and current treatment recommendations. A focus on clinical medicine and driving diagnosis in practice will be emphasized.
