What does compliance mean? Why is it important? It means the clients are following your recommendations for care - exams, rechecks, tests and treatments, parasite control, nutrition, vaccination or senior programs. Reasons Clients Don’t Comply:
1) You fail to make the recommendation 2) Your client doesn’t understand the recommendation 3) The client doesn’t understand the importance of the recommendation 4) The client feels that complying with the recommendation is too difficult 5) The client forgets the recommendation
