Dr. Karen Russ is currently a senior technical consultant with Elanco Animal Health supporting the pet health business as part of the Product and Veterinary Support team. She received her bachelor’s degree in animal science from the University of Massachusetts and her DVM degree from Purdue University. After graduating from Purdue, Dr. Russ returned to the east coast and was employed at a large, 5 doctor practice for several years. Missing the “Hoosier hospitality”, Dr. Russ returned to Indiana and completed an additional 7 years in private practice in Indianapolis. Seeking an alternative career in veterinary medicine, Dr. Russ joined Elanco Animal Health in 2011. Her areas of interest include technical writing, employee engagement, and launch team support.
