Dr. Jaime Rechy Jr., DVM, DACVR is the Chief of Radiology at Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG). He received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Texas A&M University. He completed a small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at the University of Tennessee, followed by a diagnostic imaging residency at North Carolina State University. He is board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Radiology. Dr. Rechy joined VEG after working in a busy specialty and emergency pet hospital, where he helped create a radiology department that served in-patients and out-patients, as well as a mobile ultrasound unit. Dr. Rechy, his wife, and their two boys live near Nashville, Tennessee. They enjoy hiking the Great Smoky Mountains, spending time at Center Hill Lake, and exploring Nashville’s best restaurants and music venues.
