Dr. Jesudoss Chelladurai is a co-instructor for the Clinical Veterinary Parasitology course (DVM Year 2) and Parasitology portion of Diagnostic Medicine Rotation (DVM Year 4). She participates in the parasitology diagnostic activities of the Kansas State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. Dr. Jesudoss Chelladurai's research has focused on the molecular characterization of the ATP binding cassette gene family in zoonotic nematodes. Future research will focus on understanding mechanisms of susceptibility and resistance in helminths of veterinary importance. Her other research interests are novel and repurposed anti-parasitic drugs, drug mechanisms of action and resistance, molecular and immunological diagnostic techniques, vaccine development and parasite – host interactions.
