The Founder of Fear Free, Dr. Marty Becker, “America’s Veterinarian,” has spent his life working toward better health for pets and the people who love them. Dr. Becker was the resident veterinary contributor on “Good Morning America” for 17 years. He has written 23 books that have sold more than 8 million copies, including three New York Times best-sellers. He also writes the weekly nationally syndicated newspaper feature, Pet ConnectionMost recently, Dr. Becker cofounded VetScoop.com, which works to fight for relevancy and share of mind for the veterinary profession in the minds of consumers and drive traffic to local veterinarians. Dr. Becker is an adjunct professor at multiple Colleges of Veterinary Medicine, including his alma mater, Washington State University, as well as Colorado State University and the University of Missouri’s Research Center for Human-Animal Interaction, where he acts as a passionate advocate for human-animal bond matters. . He practices at North Idaho Animal Hospital because he loves veterinary medicine, pets, and the people who care for them.
