Cynthia Marshall Faux, DVM, PhD, DACVIM-LA graduated from Iowa State University COllege of Veterinary Medicine and was in private mixed animal practice before pursuing a residency and board certification in large animal internal medicine. She completed a PhD in vertebrate paleontolgy at Yale University. She has been active in the disaster response community as a trainer, educator, and responder for over 20 years and has responded to major disasters as a veterinarian.
