I am Cris Chilelli, CVPM and Regional Operations Director at VCA. I have been with VCA for 25 years. The purpose of my work is to not only manage complex operations of multiple business units but to build success financially. I particularly enjoy helping associates truly enjoy their careers, while minimizing the stressors overwhelmingly present in our field.
I am an active member of the Veterinary Hospital Manager Association and am designated as a Certified Veterinary Hospital Manager. I also completed the American Animal Hospital Association’s Veterinary Management Institute, through Purdue University Krannert Graduate School of Business and Management. I am also certified in Organizational Leadership and have served on the VHMA Membership Committee, ensuring members feel engaged and recognized for their success. I have moderated for the Western Veterinary Conference for many years, speak at VCA events focusing on; leadership, change management and self-care.
On a personal level, my family enjoys house boating at Lake Powell and a beach home in Puerto Penasco. We play dominos, swim, and dolphin watch. We love a Terrier named, “Chillie Dog”. She brings us together and makes us laugh.
