Dr. Lisa Miller is the Vice President of Clinical Veterinary Medicine for Companion Animal Health and is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Miller completed an internship in internal medicine and then became certified in canine rehabilitation therapy. Working in a large referral hospital, she practiced rehabilitation, sports medicine, and acupuncture for several years before returning to general practice and later, joining the animal health industry.
Dr. Miller has been working with laser therapy/photobiomodulation (PBM) since 2006 and has lectured worldwide on rehabilitation and laser therapy related topics. Additionally, she has authored numerous articles on laser therapy in veterinary publications, a chapter in the textbook ‘Laser Therapy in Veterinary Medicine’, and peer reviewed research for publication. In her current role, she coordinates all veterinary and advanced PBM research involving Companion Animal Health technologies and is a consultant and reviewer for PBM research worldwide. Dr. Miller is a member of the AVMA, the American Association of Rehabilitation Veterinarians, and the American Society of Laser Medicine & Surgery.
