Dr. Carol Reinero is currently a Professor and the Director of the Comparative Internal Medicine Laboratory at the University of Missouri-Columbia. She received her DVM degree from the University of California, Davis. After completing a Small Animal Medicine and Surgery rotating internship at Texas A&M University, she returned to UC Davis to complete a Small Animal Internal Medicine residency. She was a clinical instructor on the Internal Medicine Service at UC Davis over the following three years and then enrolled in a PhD program and received her doctorate in Immunology from UC Davis. Dr. Reinero has spoken on the topic of respiratory diseases both nationally and internationally and has published over 125 peer-reviewed articles, mostly on respiratory diseases. Dr. Reinero is board certified in the specialty of Small Animal Internal Medicine by the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine.
