Veterinary Cardiologist
Dr. Simon Dennis is originally from the United Kingdom and graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine in 2000 from the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) in London. After graduation, he undertook an internship in small animal medicine and surgery and completed a master’s degree in electrocardiography at the University of Glasgow Veterinary School. For the next few years, he worked as small animal veterinarian, gaining valuable experience in all aspects of general veterinary practice. Dr. Dennis then returned to the Royal Veterinary College, completing a residency in veterinary cardiology and becoming a board-certified specialist. His specialist cardiology career has spanned two countries, clinical and academic positions. He had the privilege to work as an academic cardiologist at both the Royal Veterinary College and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, and as a clinical cardiologist in the south of England, New York City and eastern Pennsylvania. He has a particular interest and expertise in echocardiography, the diagnosis and management of heart failure and congenital heart disease.
