Federico graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Science of Córdoba in 2008, where he continued working for a few months as an intern in the small animal department.
After a year of externships in different hospitals in Spain and France, he began a small animal rotating internship at the National Veterinary School of Alfort. He later continued his training with a specialized internship in internal medicine and another specialized internship in radiology at the same institution.
Next, he began a European residency in diagnostic imaging at Utrecht University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, where he obtained the diploma of the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (ECVDI). He then stayed working for a year at the Utrecht University Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
He later moved to the United States and worked for a year as an Assistant Professor at the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Since 2017, he has been working as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, where he also became diplomate American College of Veterinary Radiology (ACVR). In 2022, Federico has been promoted to Clinical Associate Professor.
