Dr. Reynsen Shigemoto earned his bachelor’s, master’s and veterinary degrees from Colorado State University. After graduating from veterinary school in 2007, Dr. Shigemoto completed a one-year small animal medicine and surgical rotating internship at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital. He spent the following two years as the Medical Director at Animal Imaging Center in Los Angeles. By 2013, Dr. Shigemoto completed a radiology residency at the University of Florida and, subsequently, became board-certified with the American College of Veterinary Radiology.
Dr. Shigemoto has always had veterinary medicine in his heart. He decided on his career path in high school, chose radiology as his specialty before he entered vet school and worked as a veterinary technician during high school and college.
