Maria Ferrer is an Associate Professor in Theriogenology at the Department of Large Animal Medicine, University of Georgia. She received her DVM degree from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2000. She completed a MS degree and theriogenology residency at Louisiana State University in 2005, and obtained board certification with the American College of Theriogenologists on the same year. Dr. Ferrer conducts research in andrology and spermatology. Her current projects include male immune mediated infertility, and testicular degeneration. Her clinical interests are mare and stallion infertility.
