VP of Ranch Operations
Mark Kossler (BS in Animal Science, University of Idaho) is Vice President of Ranch Operations for Turner Enterprises Inc. Mark has had a 40 year career in large ranch management including managing some of the largest tracts of ranchland in the United States, the historic 565,000 acre Vermejo Park Ranch in New Mexico and the 113,000 acre Flying D Ranch in Montana. Mark was appointed General Manager/Vice President of Ranch Operations for Turner Enterprises in 2014 and now oversees all operations of 14 western ranches totaling over 1.8 million acres and 45,000 bison. The Turner Ranches are very diverse comprising operations involving oil and gas, timber management, bison production, commercial hunting, fishing and exotourism guest services and conservation initiatives involving bio-diversity, threatened or endangered species. Mark’s depth of experience makes him one of the leading authorities on the management of large and complex ranching operations.
