Ms. Mongioi concentrates her practice in veterinary and dental corporate and transactional matters and chairs the firm’s Veterinary practice group. She guides her clients throughout the life cycle of their practice – from initial formation and structure through complex acquisitions and financings. Ms. Mongioi also provides strategic counsel to both large corporate clients and individually-owned clinics on all aspects of corporate law, including practice acquisitions and sales, buy-ins and other partnership matters, leases and other real estate transactions, as well as drafting and negotiating contracts associated with such matters.
Ms. Mongioi also concentrates her practice in DEA & Regulatory compliance. Within the veterinary and dental industries, she represents several private equity-backed consolidators, as well as individual practice owners, with respect to DEA compliance, as well as handling legal matters connected to DEA audits and diversion matters.
Ms. Mongioi is included in Crain’s New York Business’ 2022 Notable Women in Law list of honorees. The 119 honorees were chosen not only for their skills and accomplishments in the courtroom, but for their leadership outside of it. In addition to their tireless dedication to their clients, the Notable Women in Law honorees were selected for their outstanding professional achievements and pro bono work or involvement in industry and community organizations.
Ms. Mongioi also offers years of experience in real estate and banking transactions, as well as trusts & estates and civil litigation, which help her bring a unique perspective when engaging with a corporate client in negotiating contracts or assisting business succession planning and exit strategies.
