Joan McCue, BA, CVPM joined All God’s Creatures in January of 2022 as Practice Manager. Previously, she was the practice manager of a four-doctor, companion animal practice in Connecticut. After relocating to South Carolina in 2020, Joan spent a year working as a practice management consultant until she found her home at All God’s. As a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM), Joan has fulfilled requirements in secondary and continuing education, demonstrated veterinary management expertise, and passed a rigorous exam.
Prior to finding her dream career in veterinary medicine, Joan worked as a freelance writer and marketing consultant. Joan holds a bachelor’s degree in communication arts and has attended many veterinary-specific continuing education programs. A native of the northeast, Joan lived in Massachusetts, New York, and Connecticut before heading south. She does not miss the snow and cold!
Joan considers veterinary medicine her second (and best) act, and feels blessed to be able to combine her love of animals with her passion for pursuing business excellence, educationg clients, and coaching her team.
Joan and her husband have two children who have successfully flown the nest and they share their home with two dogs and two cats. Joan’s pride and joy is her Clydesdale-cross mare, Southern Belle. In her spare time, Joan enjoys competing in horse shows and enjoying the southern lifestyle.
