Lindsay Elam, DVM, MPH, CVA, DACVSMR

Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Medicine and Mobility
Colorado State University

Dr. Elam comes to Colorado State University from the University of Florida (UF) College of Veterinary Medicine. There, she concurrently obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health, and stayed on to complete a specialty internship in integrative medicine and a residency in canine sports medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Elam served as faculty at UF from 2016 until 2020, when she joined CSU. She is certified in veterinary acupuncture through the Chi Institute. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking with her cattle dog mix, Panda, hanging out with her three cats, Monkey, Fennec, and Dee, and finding new places to enjoy good food and coffee with her husband, Josh.
