Susan G. Wynn, DVM, DACVIM (Nutrition) is a graduate of SEC #1 ranked University of Georgia, and before joining Instinct Pet Food, was in private practice for 31 years, most recently with BluePearl Veterinary Partners. After a postdoc in immunology and virology at the Emory School of Medicine, she became interested in nutrition and nutritional and herbal supplements. She has authored 3 textbooks on integrative medicine and earned board certification in veterinary clinical nutrition. After many years of teaching integrative medicine to vet students and veterinarians and serving on advisory and professional boards to advance science-based integrative therapies, she joined Instinct Pet Food as Senior Director of Scientific Affairs.
