This lecture will focus on the subset of chronic enteropathy dogs with hypoalbuminemia. We’ll review the pathophysiology of hypoalbuminemia as well as expound upon the pros & cons of intestinal biopsy in these patients. Finally, we’ll discuss medical & nutritional tactics to optimize outcomes in these delicate patients.
