In this case-based presentation, we will discuss post operative care and rehabilitation techniques and modalities for common knee surgical procedures (in cats and dogs) such as: CCL injuries, MPL stabilizations, deranged stifles, and articular fracture repairs.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will be able to identify the different stages of tissue healing and when rehab can or should be initiated.
Upon completion, participants will gain knowledge of basic muscle re-education and strengthening exercises that can be incorporated into their patient rehab home care programs
Upon completion, participants will be able to develop rehab home care programs for their postoperative patients following knee surgery
