Chronic ear infections can be frustrating for pet owners and veterinarians,. This case-based discussion will review the Primary causes of otitis externa, common Secondary infections, Perpetuating factors (including medications used to reduce inflammation and the importance of establishing maintenance cleaning), and Predisposing issues that can lead to relapse.
