These two sessions will be comprised of small mammal analgesia and sedation techniques. The lectures do build upon one another, so it is advisable to attend both sessions if possible. Attendees are also encouraged to ask questions and participate during sessions. Whether attendees work regularly with small mammals or just see them on an occasional or triage basis, these sessions will apply and contain relevant information that will be useful in practice. These lectures focus on uses for sedation and varying protocols to reduce stress and use of general anesthesia, updates in analgesic options for different species, and evidence-based approaches to cases.
