Turner Enterprises operates 14 ranches in the western US on 1.84 million acres. Bison, the native dominant grazing specie of North America is raised on all ranches across very diverse ecosystems. The bison herd totals 45,000 head and are raised for conservation and red meat production. On overview of ranch operations will be presented showing the methodology employed in managing a bison herd of significant size and scale.
