Licensed vaccines have been proven to decrease bovine respiratory disease (BRD) in experimental settings. However, cattle that have been vaccinated against BRD sometimes still get sick. In this presentation, we’ll review the factors that impact whether a vaccine works once it’s administered, and the things that limit just how much a vaccine can do.
