In this lecture, new technologies will be discussed to help aid the clinician in diagnosing and understanding what type of cancer is happening in the skin. This will include discussion on a non-invasive modality to screen skin tumors and advanced in house cytology options that can help streamline the diagnosis at the same visit. The attendee will have an understanding of how to approach a suspected malignancy in the skin, confirm the diagnosis and make a plan for smaller tumors that shouldn't require referral. The lecture will help to showcase examples of cases which will apply to their own daily veterinary practice
