This is an interactive case discussion session where audience members will be presented with clinical cases and have the opportunity to participate by indicating their diagnostic and treatment plans. After this session, attendees will be able to: (1) Stage feline heart disease using history and diagnostic imaging and recognize medical therapies recommended at each stage; (2) Develop an index of suspicion for CHF vs. primary respiratory disease based on physical examination and point-of-care diagnostic testing; (3) Create diagnostic and treatment plans for cats with congestive heart failure; (4) Create diagnostic and treatment plans for cats with arterial thromboembolism.
