At the end of this session participants will be able to / Au terme de cette conférence, vous serez:

identify whether transcatheter aortic valve replacement is a suitable therapeutic option for their patients with intermediate to high-risk bicuspid aortic valve stenosis, based on the current valve heart disease guidelines;
identify whether transcatheter tricuspid valve repair is a suitable therapeutic option for their patients with severe tricuspid regurgitation; and
identify whether transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement is a suitable therapeutic option for their patients with native pulmonary valve regurgitation.

Workshop Description: Our workshop will cover the following topics:
Topic 1: TAVR versus SAVR in patients with bicuspid aortic valve stenosis
This workshop will provide an overview of the latest evidence comparing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) and surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) in patients with bicuspid aortic valve stenosis. The workshop will cover the potential benefits and limitations of TAVR in this population, including the durability of the valve replacement, the need for re-intervention, and the risk of complications such as annular rupture, stroke, and paravalvular leak. Additionally, the workshop will discuss the importance of patient selection and the factors that should be considered when choosing between TAVR and SAVR.

Topic 2: Transcatheter Repair for Patients with Tricuspid Regurgitation, which patients with symptomatic severe TR.
This part of the workshop will focus on the use of transcatheter tricuspid valve repair (TTVR) for patients with symptomatic severe tricuspid regurgitation (TR). The workshop will cover the different TTVR techniques and devices that are currently available, as well as the potential benefits and risks of these procedures. The workshop will also discuss the criteria for patient selection and the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to care, including the involvement of imaging specialists and cardiac surgeons.

Topic 3: Transcatheter pulmonary valve implant in native RVOTs, is it as good as surgical PVR
This workshop will cover the use of transcatheter pulmonary valve implantation (TPVI) for patients with native right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) dysfunction. The workshop will provide an overview of the different TPVI techniques and devices that are currently available, as well as the potential benefits and risks of these procedures. Additionally, the workshop will compare the outcomes of TPVI versus surgical pulmonary valve replacement (PVR), including the durability of the valve replacement, the need for re-intervention, and the risk of complications such as arrhythmia and valve dislodgment. The workshop will also discuss the criteria for patient selection and the importance of a comprehensive evaluation of the patient's anatomy and comorbidities.

Overall, this workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of the latest developments in transcatheter valve therapies for patients with bicuspid aortic valve stenosis, severe tricuspid regurgitation, and native RVOT dysfunction. The workshop will highlight the importance of patient-centered care, multidisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based decision-making in the selection of these therapies.
